From global awareness to global action.

Six connected stages. One learning journey that continues beyond the conference.

Six connected stages of learning: awareness, understanding, dialogue, collaboration, agency and action
A learning journey that continues beyond the committee room.
01

Awareness

Explore the world beyond your classroom.

Begin with a question about a real global challenge. Notice how it connects to your everyday world.
02

Understanding

Investigate global issues from multiple perspectives.

Explore evidence, history and lived experiences. Compare perspectives before forming a position.
03

Dialogue

Listen, question and disagree constructively.

Practise listening as actively as speaking. Ask questions that make space for a different view.
04

Collaboration

Work across cultures, perspectives and interests.

Develop shared proposals. Consider whose knowledge, priorities and support a solution needs.
05

Agency

Discover how your voice can influence a conversation.

Make informed choices about how to participate. Recognise that your contribution can matter.
06

Action

Contribute to change beyond the conference.

Choose a practical next step, reflect on what happens and share what you learn.

Learning with purpose.

These stages are connected, rather than a checklist to finish. Students may return to research after a debate, or discover a new question while taking action.

Our programs adapt the journey to different age groups and learning needs.
